Started fun and after last major update went downhill fast. 30-45 days for building upgrades and good luck getting the resources without spending money or gathering for a year. Weve been stuck on the same server with the same dead alliances for over a year. Regret spending over 2 years on this game. Everything was nerfed by devs to get you to spend money. Dont waste your time.
A lot of us players are giving up playing because this game cost so much! The developer or the game requires so much resources before you can upgrade your game level which the developer will temp you to purchases gold to help you upgrade your games level but still way to expensive OR it takes way to long if you you it the long way. Thats why a lot of our co-players already quit (co-alliance and enemies alike). And for us is just a meter of time to quit too.
This review is a DEVELOPER FEEDING LIES TO THE NEW GAMERS! This Update just came out 11/6/2019. Why continue the lies.
With the new update 8 1. The command icons are confusing. 2. The rewards for doing all events have been reduced to the point of being on the lame side. 3. IW is making it so if you want to advance in the game youll have to spend a lot of money in order to progress.
Developers destroying the game with this new version . Game was simple and easy to use , we could play it in middle of work , in train or in street , not its another game , a lot of options and its good for kids ! Our friends in server 19 start to delete this game , we are the best alliance here but not more , goodbye instant war.
Just like mobile strike. Pay to play. Same base layout. Used to be good but not anymore. Not enough players to play with. And now takes all your money to get any where. Like we said used to be good. Not worth it.

It says that it isn't compatible with a iPad mini 4 and it says that it needs to be newer then a iPad 4 and iOS 9.3 and this iPad mini 4 runs iOS 12 so we want the game to allow iPad mini 1,2,3,4,5 to actually play the game. We're mad.
Eye-catching 3D graphics. Easy to pick up, because the initial leveling period doesnt slow you down with long wait times, or need for energy/resource refills. The Alliance community is fantastic, and Ive only explored one server. Join one as soon as you can. Just be patient with your builds and recruiting and youll be able to complete challenges just as easy as if you used boosters. The only differences is it takes longer. Which brings us to one thing Ive noticed, is that notification are on the heavy/annoying side. Could be toned back just a bit. Otherwise, keep updating and Ill keep playing.
This is a pretty good game. Lots of options and free play. It has no safeguards to protect growing players. It promotes bigger spending players to suppress the smaller players and turn them into farms and chase them away. Ive seen other games that have a 1-2 level restriction on attacking. That would be good. The latest update seems to crash the iPhone regularly. That said it has been fun. Hands down one of the worst gaming apps. The devs care far more about extracting money than they do about making the app stabile on the iOS platform. Its going to go away. Dont waste time or money. They have ruined the latter servers they created and lie to players about the balancing. The game concept is good. But an utter failure in execution. We wish we had never played this game.
It was a good game for the first few months..population is way to low. The game is boring now and everyone is quitting out of boredom. No new updates forever. No significant updates for months. Just graphic changes for holiday themes..no communication from the devs at all. Need server mergers for this game to survive.
Great game at first. However they dont maintain the different communities. One merge in a year is lazy. Ill change opinion if they start being more reactive.
Game has a huge group on line app spying and making it impossible for you to advance, you will be playing against people who have six different accounts, So if you wish to complete make 6-8 profiles and make your own alliance, ive counted 10 players in large group who control over50 cities.
Need to merge servers when done will change our review. Need to merge server 7.
Have been playing since August of 2018. Game started out great with the good graphics and updates. Playwing eventually merged the first two servers which INCREASED our gaming experience. After that our server has slowly died off and people are quitting. Updates are few and far between except for silly holiday gimmicks and expensive packs that promote little growth. Our server has united in requesting a second server merge with another active server, but our request is falling on deaf ears. We will update our review if we indeed receive a server merge.
God awful customer service, takes 1~2 weeks to get back a half response that doesnt answer your question/concern, will often REFUSE to give players their purchases that they didnt receive when they have PROOF, only updates for this game since before Christmas has been graphic changes yet they have major updates being announced that keep getting pushed back with no set date for release, they let servers die out if they dont like how they play a WAR GAME, any updates outside of graphic changes that happen every month or so is utterly useless, they dont listen to player feedback or concerns, and especially server 7 they allow to die out simply because of the lack of updates and the seemingly lack of interest in their own game. If you wish to see this bad review get switched with a good one merge server 7.
They forgot about the first players of the game and left us in a dead server. Without a merger this game is awful! If they merge server 7 Ill change our rating.
Thus app is worst then one star. Everyone is quitting. Three alliances run the app. Stay away from this one.
We have the game and have been shorted 2-3 times on stuff we have purchased. We contacted customer service and its been weeks with no resolution.
We were chugging along, learning, growing and now the game wont even load for the second day. No answers on twitter as to why or when this will be resolved. NOT HAPPY.
Yet another game with a trailer full of graphically-rich third person combat action… And ends up being just another overhead base building game. Its dishonest at best and a really boring gimmick.
Hello we used to LOVE this game. But… They took away our alliance and it cost us 200 gold to make it. So give back our alliance please.
Takes far too long to build train troops and cost is a turn off in this game many players stop playing do to cost so players quitting or just plan give up is far too great. There is no solution too this issue this game will be dead in a few months and might make it another 6 months before all big players just stop playing since there is no challenge to the game. Ill be quitting soon so dont mind the few thousand we spent on this junk game Im sure you will find other suckers.
We started playing this game about a month ago. Good graphics. We were enjoying it. But right when the new update iPhone recently had, it crashes when trying to open it. So we went to the website to contact the devs and it is impossible to do so. After hitting submit on the form to contact the devs It brings up the pop up that is intended to prove we are not a computer. But no matter how many times we click on correct pictures, it just keeps making us complete another and another. Its ridiculous that we would have to go through a crazy amount of pop ups like that to simply let the devs know we are having a problem. Beware… If it stop working for you …. You will lose everything.
Will not load up after the most recent update a few days ago. Fix this please.

Dont even bother wasting your time with this game. The game has glitches allowing people to obtain unlimited troops and rare inventory items. They allowed these cheaters to run wild where many players quit. They refuse to ban the cheaters.
This game is loaded with bugs. Customer Support does not reply to customers concerns about game issues or shortages of rewards. If you can pay to win you will pay out your nose in this game. Most of the people playing are more helpful than the customer support department.
Great game, nice graphics, easy to learn, we have been playing for over 1 year, and still enjoy the game just as much as when we started.
We were really enjoying it until we attacked someone with like 100k of less force, and somehow we lost. So trash.
We were somewhat enjoying the game, but for whatever reason, it stopped loading. It would be stuck at the half way mark of loading and never move.

This is an awesome game and is definitely underrated its like a strategic build a city type game but without all of the extremely complicated parts and they dont really push you towards micro transactions and you dont feel like you have to spend real money so yeah you should definitely download this game. And people really shouldnt complain so much about getting its part of the game dont give this game 1 star because of it btw if you decide to play the game you should message us Im the leader of the 4th strongest alliance on server 2.
We bind our Smc214 account from server 1 on a phone and we switch phones, how come we cant load our account on our new phone. Why isnt game center loading it.
The devs will care less if you spend 100s of dollars in game, and you lose it all in an attack. When you are attacked you lose all of your troops, dont risk it. Fun game though, at least while it lasted. At least the devs gave us 1/50 of of our lost soldiers back, but its not enough for us to get back on our feet.
Bad on Mac OS and really bad about getting back to you on HELP. The no help email.

For some reason sometimes we need to wait weeks just to log in the game because is saying that we have error to the connection when we have full bar of internet and then we put try again and it give us the same message soo yea.
The gameplay in the beginning is OK but it lacks so much nothing to really keep you engaged. A war game should keep you engaged enough to stay busy but not this one. Feels more like a Sim build game rather than a wargame.
New update crashes app on our iPhones 6 and 6s. Lost 2 bases.
Overall, Playwing Ltd. Did a nice job putting together a fun and exciting game of risk. The objectives and goals are clear and consise (win at all costs!); great real time mechanics; highly competitive (mostly); and good gfx. The social collabration and teamwork based dynamic is also a nice component to this game, as well as the collection/alliance assistance aspect. A good real life learning environment as it emcompasses a true survival of the fittest atmosphere. Very fun – to a certain extent. Although we wanted to give the game a higher rating, there are some flaws that should be considered for improvement. First, the flow of the game is choppy and the information website is not all that intuitive. It doesn't really educate you on the "how to" when developing your base. Second, the balance between players is heavily lopsided. The players that can invest money into their base places a strain on those who cannot. Even if they join an alliance, they are still not successful because of the time it takes to increase a buildings level takes forever an eternity. The only difference is that they may not be attacked as much as a non-allied base. However, this is the point where they are usually kicked out of the alliance because they can't keep up with the pace of the other alliance members, which then makes them target practice for everyone else. This causes a lot of players to quit as they may feel the game in not fair. We understand the developers goal is to make a profit, however the game becomes less challenging as the players that are not willing to spend money just up and quit. Third, the cost of purchasing gold and bundles is atrocious! Again, we undertand the goal is to make a profit, but come on. A gaming console is a much more affordable gaming option than taking out a second mortgage on our home to be able to "stay in the game!" But, then again, that only makes us the real idiot for overspending we guess. But, at the end of the day, gamers are the social and financial case studies as developers continue to collect data for their success of their next project. Anyway, this will eventually fizzle out unless the developers find new ways to keep the players engaged. P.S. This is a great way to pass time while your waiting for a vaccine. :).
This game is garbage! Needs Better pairing couldnt even lvl up our base for a WHOLE YEAR BECAUSE YOU KEEP GETTING Destroyed !!!! Get to work Ill never get this game again spent 2 years waiting on something so trash it wont get better if we find a friend with this game Im throwing their phone.
The game is good but the developers of this game dont care about user experience or safety of their players. As long as you pay you can do what ever you want… We have support email to prove that they dont care what happens in the game… The game is plaueged with bullies. People that dont care and do whats they want… God forbid they create a huge team and dominate everyone else… As soon as you get going in game you will be attacked by huge players and nothing can be done… Join team they say but unless you join the big guys you wont survive. If you join the big guys that it – you are done no more playing cause no point of you doing anything except sit under big guy umbrella. All other small teams do have a chance to grow at all… Developers of this game doesnt care how anyone plays unless they get paid! Stay away from this game…. Dont play it… Not worth your time or your money.
We have been playing this game since it launched. It was great at first great game play able to fight one on one and even able to battle as teams! As the game progressed it was very intriguing to see everyone developing and able to get resources during a boss event that made it easier to grow and made everyone stronger sooner than later. After the 1st year more towards the end of it the developers resource packs and have us collect them for our bases that are already requiring 180mil of each resources. Just to let you know it takes about 20-24 hours to retrieve 3 millions resources from a elite tile which again you share with others. You will get about 500-600k resources per March at best. You only have 5 marches and get this. Everyone go for food and oil. But for composites you will be full of them and have no need for them. Useless resources in the game collect but the longest to collect from mines. To grow you must spend now, developers have gotten stingy and are not same as before. As they say we dont provide resources from boss events because it cause major problems as there is none. Must cause a problem in there sales as there packs are terrible $100 you spend is about 8mil in food and oil. You can get those in 2 1/2 days. Just stay away and dont join the game. Its a dead game now.
Only one of these types of games that is streamlined and actually good at how it is supposed to work Im very satisfied.
