- Currently been farming for legendary and while I’d be happy if that was today, I don’t mind the extra few days of farm. I like how they are doing offers and rolling out a little slower, gives me opportunity to catch up to the two week head start beta players. I would expect and be ready for raids to launch in July.
Hate to say it but lack of content for YouTubers doesn’t necessarily translate the same for the player base and shouldn’t hate on game for following their strategy that doesn’t fit CC vision.

Gear tier 9, wow such an interesting content! I can’t wait to not to upgrade any of my characters to T9 anytime soon. I am just going to farm the characters I like at my own pace. I don’t expect much from this game until 1 year mark. I am a LOTR fan so I will continue playing.

Martin Albert: This is my 3rd game so I’m fine having little to do. I’ll actually have to think about it when lots of content come out.
Congerlive: What am I doing? Well, I’m currently gearing Strider to 7, Ironhide is already 8. Isengard 3 are G6. Rohan are G6, except Eomer is G5. Wubete is almost 5* (g5), I’m farming a TON of character shards, WAY more than gear focus. Trying to prepare for the many things that should come in the future. Farming Elves, Haradrim, Hobbits, Isengard, Rohan. Want to farm Dwarves, but just don’t have the energy. I think Character shard farming (to 5 star) is one of the best ways to prepare for the unknown future. Yeah, that’s about it. Account level 50 atm, close to 51. I’m gold broke, cause I too buy crystals and green gear from the shop. I appreciate you letting us know that those gear pieces we see in the shops are gonna be needed, but since that feels so far down the road, I want to get the character shards first. When Wubete is 5* for example, I will buy Mirie to 5*, then go back to Wubete to 6/7 before using currency for the other stuffs.
Side note: I STILL THINK YOU SHOULD TELL PEOPLE TO USE THIER GUILD ENERGY TO MANUALLY PLAY AND HELP GET MORE CURRENCY FOR THEIR TEAMMATES. It’s not a lot of extra, but if everyone does it, it would make a significant impact on the speed of farming those 2 toons to 7* and to buy extra mats etc. I say this cause I do this for my guild and some of them do it for me, but not all, so if there was an established content creator telling people this little extra effort opportunity maybe more of my guild mates would share the wealth.

RolfK: I am still focusing on my last two 5* Elves. In a way I think it is not enough to do. I want to build some different teams, check out combos etc. The current reality is that apart from the chase of Elrond a lot of things are impossible because the lack of resources. I already decided that after Elrond, I will slow down and look back to all the open projects even if the next legendary is around the corner. I spend some money on Elladan but I think I will wait and see before I do something like that again. Nevertheless, the game is entertaining, but I am restless to do more.
Meglobob: I agree with a lot of your points, it feels like a game still in soft launch, not a full release. A big positive is there other game has been around for 7.5 years and still going strong but the standard for new games is a lot higher in 2023 and there is a lot of competition. They have not advertised HOME at all, AFAIK, perhaps after Raids + other content has come out, they will push advertising, marketing in the run up to xmas? When the game launched and started getting money in, they hired new people to work on it.
TormDK: Not getting Halbarad for F2P is madness. He is so much ahead of all the other characters that can heal it’s not funny. so I would really reconsider your stance on him.
Regarding whales and krakens; We are playing Hoard of the Rings so that we can take every new release character directly to level 60 gt8 4444 or higher :D – I should have 2,2 million gold and about 1000 rare ability mats to play with at Elrond’s release, as Guild chapter 5 really helps in that regard.
foamslinger: I enjoy playing the game, albeit only for a few minutes per day. If this were my primary game, I would find another primary game.
Cleston815: as a f2p, this has been a good secondary game for me to log in once or twice a day and complete dailies. currently at level 47.
i feel a lack of information regarding what teams to focus on and what characters i should be focusing. i now understand that elrond is out of reach, so what should i do? the sahdow team is very bad and not a good number of options outside the isengard 3, so i have been pivoting to halbarad and mirie to complement the brothers and strider.
i also feel frustrated that the road to rivendell story takes so many resources to complete and the characters are not even useful.
currently sitting on thousands of gems with no real purpose to spend them, except sometimes i will recharge for energy to farm crystals.
pushing campaign also takes a lot of time to see any real 3-star progress.
EDK: Grinding for Elrond gives me something to do
Paulo Matos: You right and possible when Elrond teams start beating everyone else people will just give up. And if they delay until September the Raid they will loss at least half the players.
MoleTM Gaming: Coming from someone who played a hell of a lot more SWGOH than MSF, and not knowing TOO much about the early days there (I was there on release but stopped playing after a while). I think that this game has for the most part got off to a rocky start at best. I’m fully aware that there is a sizable portion of the initial player base that will likely never return, which I think is fine if they have had such a negative experience.
Again, in terms of content, I agree with the notion stating that it feels like the game is in "soft launch" or a beta 2.0 and honestly we should have had a Galactic War type mode, or Raids in the game from day 1. However, I’m staying optimistic for the future. I think the Raid push is going to be heavily dominated by Elves as people have discussed and that is why Raids have not come just yet. I am still hoping for a early-mid July release but again we get very little communication.
I know Haem is doing a pretty good job at giving us what information she can but she is also limited in what she can and cannot share. I just hope that the people who have invested considerable time and/or money stay with the game and give it the time it needs to be great, which I have no doubt it CAN be, but in it’s current state I too see why people are not having the best of times.
Also, like most others I am working on my Elves. I managed to horde my resources enough to get 4/5 elves to 5 stars. The only one left is Naremiri, who I have ready to take to 5* but I am waiting until Elrond’s release to do that.

Martin Chow: I don’t mind things being slow like now. The gear bottleneck is clear so if the game moves fast (e.g. MSF releasing new characters veryyy frequently) it will drive people away.
