- When I was running my challenges I found out a useful weakness in Elrond’s kit.
The unbreakable aren’t forced onto him. Meaning getting him to as close to 41% health as possible and then kill him on the next damage he takes, his unbreakable doesn’t trigger and won’t wave him. I pulled it off with Mauhur special 2, though Strider special 1 and Eomer special 2 should be appropriate damage. Elrond doesn’t have a massive HP pool, capping out currently at 21k. Any 9k damage hit will suffice. Those max gear numbers. With the current average looking at around 3-5k as the needed number.

I did find it useful to quickly take out strider first as it does not trigger any provokes/nimbles/unbreakable and he can’t be revived. It helps reduce the damage right at first and then go back to the elves

This was a useful video, much appreciated. I just beat this fight, albeit with 1*, with 5* Strider, 4* Eomer, 3* Eowyn, 3* Arwen, 2* Mauhur. Biggest difference was obviously the damage output of his Azhak versus my gimped Mauhur, but it was still doable.
