Good info, I’d say that getting a shadow team up for challenges early has benefits for long-term resource gain rather than waiting on future shadow side groups to get released and become f2p farmable.

Blake Howard: Hey AP, I was looking into the most efficient possible team to start the game with, and I think I’ve found it. I have like 10 places I could post this, but I wanted to give you the secret info first lol. I made a backup account to test this, and up to level 20 it’s been super solid so far! Okay, here’s the 10: Wubete, Yeftu, Ugluk, Mauhur, and Dunhar for shadow, and Eowyn, Eomer, Eothain, Lomion, and Naremiri for light. These 10 characters meet the requirements for 5 human, 5 orc/elf, 5 support/attacker, 5 tank/healer, and of course shadow and light. I know what you’re probably thinking, where’s Ironhide and Strider? Controversial opinion: skip them! Especially Ironhide. They are both undeniably good, but they take away from efficiency. These 10 are all pretty good characters, but most importantly they all set you up super well for the two known legendary events in the future. Also, make sure to farm Halbarad in the background (of course) since it’s such a long farm! Then Leliel, Elrohir, and Robel when possible (but just farm to 5 without gearing unless you want to switch some of them around). Hope this lives up to the APGAINS work smarter not harder f2p standard!

Cody Severson: Should we be taking shadow characters (other than ironhide) up past gear 5 for campaign? If so isn’t Isengard the best ones for that?
Justin Picard: Getting my Rohan trio to 3 stars gear 6 all abilities at 3 while I farm haradrim shards. After Rohan I’ll go get my smaller teams to level 30 gear 5 before taking Rohan higher. I don’t care about arena or Elrond. I’m getting raid ready + farming the teams I want to have fun with

AnarchoAntelope1312: I’m entirely f2p and have 2k crystals, I do my three normal energy refreshes a day, but what else should I be spending my crystals on?

Billy Nikakis: Dunno , I ve taken Isengard 4 to gear 6 and just unlocked Azhak , i really like the synergies and since the heals from ugluk scale the more you invest in them , i believe they are worth considering as an alternative ( obviously I am going for Nazgul too). We ll probably get legendary Saruman or Lurtz down the road so eventually they ll be used for that too. Don’t really care about arena so have Ghaz at gear 4 and no extra stars , he helped me get to silver 2 and progress the shadow campaign quite a bit , but it’s time for Azhak to take his place , synergies are great.
Good point on Aeldred , i unlocked him in my first week and while he doesnt seem like much , when u get his 2 skills to level 4 the heals really start to matter.

Also playing 2.5 years on swgoh and almost got my core 8 teams. Just GAS and Malak left (about a month away each). 3 teams of them relic, only 2.6 million and kicking ass on 3.5 million + in arena. Love the vids.
