This game is really fun. Logical puzzles for when you are bored. This is a book that has the answers but it is really fun to try and figure it out all by yourself (I wonder if you can!!) If you like games that take 10-20 minutes to complete you must be SUPER good at logic games or this is not the game for you. If you aren’t good at math, logic, and/or reading then this DEFINITELY is not the game for you. But we do think if you like math, logic and/or reading then Lumino City has your name on it (not really its an expression that means youd probably like it). The art is amazing and definitely really cute!
Not real hard, but do have to correct a few things by using the book. Not everything is intuitive.
Lumino City was so wonderfully pleasing to look at while also being a great puzzle game, which we are always a sucker for. Whats more, a lot of puzzle games have unnecessary challenges that are more a flaw than mastery, but this one falls right into mastery. If we got too stuck, we made sure to look at the page in the manual over and over and by-golly eventually it would click, and how fun it is to use your brain in that way! So grateful we ran across this gorgeous game. The ending storyline is a mystery to us, but we appreciate the visual story rather than it being spelled out, so kudos there. Im curious if theres something with the her grandparents named Mary and Joshua? Leaves us thinking. Well done.
Love love love all the mechanical drawings in the book. Love how kids can learn to use them and learn nifty things like how lemons can be used to conduct electricity.. Were missing a potato clock here guys.. Im only up to the part where we’ve entered the city but so far Im loving it.
This game astounds us. Its so creative and honestly comes together beautifully and works with the pocket edition esthetic. We would recommend this game 100% of the time and hope to see more amazing games such as these in the devs futures :)

We are in awe of the amount of effort that went into this. The sets are fantastic, the world feels so fleshed out, the puzzles are so interesting. We would spend a day in Lumino City if we could. The mechanic of the Handymanual is a genius hint system. All around, amazingly good job.
We researched games that were similar to Monument since we liked that one. This one is great too. We love the graphics and the simplicity. Also the calming music.
This game is absolutely amazing. The art is perfect and the puzzler are really well made and intriguing. There are so many small details that make the game that much better.

We needed a puzzle game like this and searched for games like The Room. This came up and it is exactly the kind of game we wanted. It Is mentally stimulating, problem solving in a fantasy world. Bravo to the developers!

We enjoy the puzzles, even though they can get a bit frustrating, we also like that the book gives great hints without being like, WATCH A VIDEO FOR A HINTTTTT. We love the style, even though it is a bit expensive, its an amazing game, congrats.

This game exactly THE puzzle game we’ve been searching for! We like almost all puzzle games, but we love a cool story to go with it like this one. We always seem to have trouble finding one that is challenging enough to be fun, but not so mind-bending that it feels like work. And with this game, we are so hooked, we sincerely hope there will be a sequel!!!!
We usually dont write reviews but this game was just that good. It was beautiful from the first scene all the way through to the end credits. Really intricate and thoughtful puzzles with an adorable storyline to go along. Beautiful job creating an intricate and unique city!!

It would be an understatement to say that we found Lumino City absolutely breathtaking. Its the story of a small girl venturing through handcrafted, visually pleasing lands to locate her beloved grandfather, the handyman of a vast city. However, there was one suggestion we had. When you select the level titled The Captain, you do not have the fish and chips you acquired in the level prior. As we find this level really enjoyable, Id like to play it on its own, but we need the fish and chips to complete the level. Its quite a process to have to hunt for the potatoes all over again. Maybe players could be able to select the level and automatically have the fish and chips? Thanks!
Beautiful, fun, really cute game. Im not too far into it. Hoping that it gets a little more challenging as it goes. Update a couple days later: definitely got more challenging!

Hey there! We wanted to ask you something. On level 1, how do you ring the bell? Im 10-years-old & we are stuck on the 1st level! WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Forgive us! We are just a bit frustrated on how to ring the bell. We know that you jump on the box, hang on to the hook, but we just need to figure out how to make the bell ring. Can you help out? Gotta love this game. Its super pretty to look and and the puzzles arent so easy. You have to think. And the story has only just begun. Only three scenes in and Im hooked. Lumino City is a gem.

Moreover, if one goes searching for answers, Lumino City has provided a manual does more than just provide answers. Indeed, the manual is a highly detailed engineering guide that cant help but teach you a few scientific principles, if you are curious and love to learn about how things work, and prefer to have fun while doing so. Then there is the hand-crafted design of the entire city which captures ones imagination and provides moments of awe and delight. We just cant say enough. We truly enjoyed this game! Finally an innocent puzzle game where we can use our brain without harming characters. Took us a relaxed few days to finish and had lots of fun while playing. Liked the cheats even though not always were they helpful, still needed to use our brains. Hope to see more games like this. Sincerely appreciate it!
There’s not a corner, level or puzzle in this game that we didn’t see an incredible amount of intricate energy put into this game. Even if it wasn’t completely made by hand, this game clearly just had so many little things to catch the eye and show that it was made for you to enjoy. There was no cutting corners here, and it worked. We had so much fun playing this game, and there’s not a lack of challenge here because they even included a handbook which you can have help guide you on levels, which we did use quite a bit to be honest. It was just amazing how much hard work and fun was had creating this game!! If this game doesn’t deserve five stars we don’t know what does!
