We have always loved playing Scrabble ever since we were a child. We still own the board. But, there is no one around anymore to play with physically. The Scrabble online fulfills two things. Our love for word games, especially, Scrabble. We have so many players to play with everyday and at any time of the day. Heaven.
Ive been in a game for over 24 hours. Both players cannot play any more tiles (according to the game). There is no way to complete the game without resigning. To resign means to lose the game even though we are ahead by 100 points. This should be addressed to finish games that can no longer have plays.
Great game but the adds are too much! You have to hit the x button many times before it finally lets you in the game or opens the add up! Not worth what you charge to end adds! Lower your price you would make more money and make the players happier.
We really like this game, but Im about to delete the app because of the frustration of being interrupted constantly from playing the game due to ads. We would prefer an option to pay for no ads.
At first when you download this app, there arent any ads. You get a game or two in, get invested, and then BAM! An add after every turn. You spend more time watching ads than playing scrabble! And since you need internet to connect with people, you cant just turn on airplane mode to avoid them.
Fun to play, but tons of adds and a lot of them are impossible to get out of. Would be a lot better if they werent so greedy for ads. Tired of ads so Im done. KMA.
If you like watching an ad after playing every move then this is your game. In a 16-move game, expect to watch about 15 ads smh. Its a fun game though. Just hope they fix the rate of the ads. Maybe ads every 5-10 active minutes spent in the app and when you leave and come back to it makes sense.
Why are there so many ads during the challenges like adventure? Every 1-3 turns theres an ad and if we pay for no ads it doesnt work for the Adventure!!! Other than that, good game. Reduce the number of ads.
Such a fun game and has got us into puzzle games however an ad after every single play just really takes away from the fun. Deleted the app because it just got too annoying.

Scrabble Go is the worst iteration of Scrabble yet, clearly intended only to make money and not stay true to their game.
The ads are longer than our game play. We really like the setup of this game but the ads are every turn you take and they are loonnggg. We are not sure why we bother. We are currently shopping for a different version.
We are on the verge of deleting your app. It is absurd to have an ad after every word played. ENOUGH SAID!!! We stopped playing Scrabble Go for over 4 months due to even fewer ads than you are running now. We understand that you have to generate revenues in order to support the game. But if you need an ad after every word then maybe your game is NOT financially sustainable. If you continue with the ad after every word concept we assure you we will be done with Scrabble Go.
We just want to play scrabble, but the game keeps being interrupted by youve leveled up! And youve won an award, click here to open the treasure chest and collect your gems. And theres a tournament happening right now, dont you want to join? NO!! We dont want any of that bullst. We just want to play scrabble without being constantly interrupted by attempts at upselling.

Just started playing this game tonight and we are really enjoying it.
We enjoy the game and this app is well designed to make it easy to play when we have a short break at work and interesting to play when Im winding down at home after a busy day at work.
We love this game, but takes too long to get thru rewards, tapping skip or tap to continue numerous times in a row. It could be faster to get them at once or something.
Whenever ads pop up, it winds up muting this app altogether, until we restart this app. (our phone brand: iPhone 16 Pro Max) Besides that: all we can think of (at the moment), is the app represents Scrabble well. Its just, theres one more tidbit that would be nice to address: wouldnt it be cool to have more options for bonus ("DW", "TW", etc.) tile spots placements; like a randomizer option, or other pre-sets, that could add to the excitement? Rather than the same format, every time? Just as an idea. (Although) The main reason we made this review, was that this app automatically mutes whenever an ad shows up (until we restart the app, for the sound to return). Still a cool app, regardless. We love how you can play with multiple people. Can u please fix the sound, it keeps going out and we have to press the volume for it to go back on.
What are the chances of getting ALL vowels for 1/2 a game? Need we say more.
The game play itself is fine, but we guess we're not used to the number of ads and pop-ups, and this n' thats. Way too intrusive. We guess we could buy our out of the swamp but…we're going to just uninstall.
We hate all the adds with no way to delete them. They pop up after every play. Other games we play online dont have this problem.
Fun to play but the ads are outta this world relentless. Make a move then forced to watch an ad. Make another move then another ad. It probably takes up around 25% of the playing time.
The game itself is fun to play, but being bombarded with ads diminished our experience. We deleted the app after about a week or so.
This used to be our favorite game, but the number of adds Im bombarded with is nearly a deal-breaker. Nobody we know or play with ever watches the adds, and we all will shut the app down as soon as an add comes on, so we dont play it as much anymore. And many of the adds are invasive and will start opening windows on our phone en masse. The adds from the scrabble game will open sketchy websites and will even open our email app. The game itself will also shift the screen at times so you are forced to accidentally click on their ads. Scrabble ads should be illegal based on ethical concerns, and they are immoral on a lot of levels. Its actually becoming insulting how many adds we are being bombarded with on a once-great app.
Just get words with friends less ads. They have made the game unplayable.
Love Scrabble but the ads have become too numerous and too intrusive within a live game. Yeah, we know you can pay to remove ads but its expensive with this particular game. Hard no. Im out. Update (10/28/25): Tried playing again here for about a week or so. Nothing has changed, still getting an ad after every move. Thats a joke. We dont have a lot of time to play and Im definitely not spending it waiting for ads to play out. Im out. Again. For the last time.
Words is cancerous with ads and scrabble allows you to watch ads to unlock stuff, not to just play the game.

Fun to play but there are clearly bots and cheaters on this game who will corner your board instead of playing the entire board. No point in playing at that point.
We reached level 20 about a week ago and actually now at level 21 and we still have not received the reward for level 20. Can you please check on this.
Love this game! However we do not like being cheated by the computer. Misspelled words and words that clearly are not words like Mm, HM. No. Not going to play that game. Sad.
We really wanted to enjoy this app, but the constant ads completely ruin the experience. We have to watch an ad after every single move, and it breaks our focus on the game. Instead of being fun and relaxing, it feels frustrating and distracting. Very annoying.

Please provide a dark mode. It's staining on the eyes to play against a light background at night. Also, if we always log in with the danger login method, why do we have to select it efery time? The app should remember our login and just give the option to sign out or switch it later. 99%+ of users probably click the same button every time.
Lets face it. The only thing that truly matters beyond game play is keeping track of how well you are doing. Nowhere have we found stats that say how many games played. It only shows number of games won. No winning percentage. Nothing. We dont care about bonuses or other things. We just want to play Scrabble and see how well we do. We shouldnt have to click on one screen and see we have 78 wins in 10 days and then go to our history and count the total games and losses. Our other issue is the ads have a delay to them. Either the X is too small purposefully so you miss and accidentally open the ad. We imagine the developers do this so they can charge more to the advertisers as engagement but lets keep it real. That tactic is shady. Our other question is, the fake profiles created just to chat and try and get you into a chat app. If you dont chat they quit. Do these numbers affect your overall word score? If a game is cancelled at 40 points and they quit. Is our overall word score average affected? Also, a few accounts have found a way to cheat the system and it automatically plays the best play possible within seconds of you making your play. Can these people be penalized for cheating and not count against your score.
The only thing we dont like is the unlikely odds of getting all vowels in so many rounds in one game.
AI says this will prevent the constant Scrabble termination while in background.
This is really fun just like real Scrabble. We dont know if Im playing against bots or other people, but we just play as a guest and get to play with as many people as we want and as long as we want for free, however, you get an ad video after EVERY turn. Just know that. And we have a Kraken crypto ad thats stuck now in front of our row of letters. We have a screenshot of it, but Im not sure how to load it up here. Just to let you know Im going to have to exit the game and go back in. But this is the only ad out of the hundreds Ive seen while playing Scrabble Go, that has ever gotten stuck. And its not the first Kraken crypto ad Ive seen – its probably the third.
App has been good up until recently when it constantly freezes causing us to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Fun Classic Scrabble game that is overrun by ads. At $7.99 a month to get rid of the ads or pay daily/weekly, this is the most expensive game Ive come across. Which is frustrating and disappointing considering its a really enjoyable game and app. Its sad the creators are so greedy.
Live the game and the mini games. Only issue we have is every time we play we get a pop up thats says our phone has a virus. This happens about 5 to 6 times a day while playing this game.
