War Sanctuary

War Sanctuary

Players must upgrade tech (“engravings”) in the Resource Temple and War Temple to enhance their battle power and resource gathering ability on the World Map. Upgrading tech requires spending a resource called War Ashes, which can be obtained by looting other players’ cities, mining from mines, harvesting from your Holy Tree Core, or purchasing with diamonds. Aside from increasing your power, players can also set up traps in the Magic Defense Tower to bolster city defenses and protect it from being looted, which would lead to having your Holy Tree Core looted as well.

War Sanctuary Rules:

1. All abilities obtained from the War Sanctuary will only take effect on the World Map.

2. All engravings must be supported by the Holy Tree Core to take effect, so please protect your core and don’t let other players steal it.

3. When City Wall Stability drops below 70%, there is a chance that your Holy Tree will be looted the next time someone defeats your city.

4. Engravings obtained from upgrades may be destroyed when another player defeats your city. If destroyed, you must undertake engraving again (requires a small amount of War Ashes and cooldown time).

5. Upgrading and fixing engravings require spending War Ashes. Players can receive Ashes via the following methods:

a) Ashes can be obtained by mining Ash Mines.

b) By attacking other players and dealing damage to them, the attacking player will receive a proportion of Ashes based on the amount of HP damage dealt.

c) Only attackers can receive Ashes for damage dealt in World Map battles. Players cannot receive any Ashes for defensive battles.

d) By defeating a player’s city and looting his or her Sacred Tree Core, the looter will receive 25% of the Tree Core’s normal War Ashes production. A player can loot Tree Cores from up to 5 different players!

-Holy Tree Core

When your city is defeated and your City Wall is below 70%, there is a chance your opponent will loot your Holy Tree Core.

When your Holy Tree Core has been looted, all of your tech will be deactivated and completely unresponsive.

Recovering a Holy Tree Core:

1. When the looter’s city is defeated, all looted Holy Tree Cores will be automatically returned to their rightful owners.

2. After a period of 3 days, Holy Tree Cores will be automatically returned.

3. The looter can also choose to return a Holy Tree Core ahead of time.

-Magic Defense Tower

1. The various types of traps must be unlocked in War Temple first before they can be produced.

2. Traps will take effect automatically in defensive city battles: traps begin going off 5s after the start of battle, and then go off once every 5s after.

3. Casting order is: Heavenfire, Lightning, Arrow Shower, and Rampage. Successive effects are: Attacks front row, mid row, back row, and all units using rampage mode.

4. Each time a trap skill is cast, the amount stored of that trap will decrease by 1. When a player has multiple levels of the same trap, lower level traps will be used first.

5. When players unlock higher level traps, we recommend that players destroy lower level traps to make room for producing the high level traps.

-Resource Temple

Use war ashes to upgrade tech and increase the amount and rate of resources gathered (includes iron, crystal, silver, medicine, and war ashes). Also increase the amount of reward drops and rally attack profits (includes gold, diamonds, exp elixirs, shadow essence, and soul crystals). Also increase tech protection and output values, lowering the chance of engravings being destroyed.

-War Temple

Use war ashes to upgrade tech and give your heroes attribute buffs on the World Map (includes marching speed, city destruction efficiency, healing spring conversion rate, peace shield cooldown, the four types of traps, hero stats, etc.)
